Pray that the LORD will bring comfort, love and mercy to her family and friends. And pray that when people hear of her strong faith in Jesus, they will be drawn to saving faith in Him.

Pray for the family of Cathy Akin
Pastor Jeff & Susan Gray received word today that a good friend of theirs died suddenly of a pulmonary embolism. Her name was Cathy Akin. Her husband and all of their family need your prayers during this time of grieving and loss. She was a follower of Christ, so we rejoice that she is with the LORD, but the shock, grief and sorrow of her death still remains.

Cathy was a dear friend of mine. Her husband David and her children Seth and Elyse need to be covered in prayer at this time. Please pray. There is no doubt Cathy is in Heaven, but our human hearts cannot understand the timing.
If you met Cathy once you would instantly know that she was a woman of faith. If you knew her you would know that she was a practical joker. If you ever had the privlage to see her with the pre-schoolers in music then you would know that she loved them like Jesus loves children.
